The lead investigator in Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s review of the authenticity of Barack Obama’s birth certificate today unloaded a bombshell about the case: that he was told by sources members of the media were threatened with federal investigations should they continue to report on the birth certificate issue.
Lead investigator Mike Zullo told WND that as he was preparing information to be presented to the public “it was clear that the mainstream media was not going to be in attendance at the sheriff’s scheduled news conference, where he presented facts suggesting both fraud and forgery in the image of a Hawaiian birth certificate that the White House released last year as ‘proof positive” of Obama’s eligibility for office.
“During our investigation, we actually were told [that media] had been threatened with FTC investigations. Commentators [had been] threatened with their jobs,” Zullo said.
The threats were so intimidating that some individuals quit their positions over safety concerns for their families, he said.
So the problem became to get the information to the American public in spite of an intentional media blackout, since citizens still must make critical leadership decisions about their government through the election process.
The solution was an ebook with details from the investigation, the evidence that was accumulated, and the issue that remain for Arpaio and his investigators to pursue…..

Since I am a Christian, a Minister, a Father (daughter 19, son soon to be 18), a Conservative and a Constitutionalist, and the Administrator at Patriot Action Network I know that there is a certain decorum, standard expected of me, especially as a Christian and a Minister, that is higher and/or different than for most.

But those are also reasons for me to speak out.

Liberal PC (Political Correctness, i.e Principally and Morally WRONG) is the ruination of honest discourse and debate on the Principles, Issues, Values and Morals, and the people caught up in them. The Liberals have set the standard of what is acceptable and what is not acceptable…and yet it is Liberalism that is filled front to back, top to bottom with depravity, degeneracy and totalitarian thought!

Rush Limbaugh called Sandra fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute”.

Let’s look and listen to just what Sandra Fluke actually said herself that merited those labels.

In that video clip beginning at the 2:17 minute point Sandra Fluke says that she and “many other woman spend $3,000 on contraception over the course of their time in college”, Sandra Fluke then said “that is an entire Summer’s worth of work”…so in ONE Summer she ADMITS that she can earn enough money to buy for herself 2-3 YEARS worth of condoms, and that is at 3 condoms/3 sex acts A DAY!!!

Now hear is where I must use wisdom and be careful but at the same time be honest and deal with REALITY as it is.

I remember in my 4th-6th grade years on the school bus I rode to school there were 2 sisters, I call them Marcie and Martha. Martha was the youngest. She did well in school, made good grades, rarely ever missed school, and was a nice and quiet, yet well liked girl. Her sister, Marcie, was a year older, very pretty…and she KNEW IT. Already in the 6th grade (merely 11-12 years old!) Marcie was known through-out the school, and even in Junior High, as “the easy girl”. Marcie missed school often due to suspensions because of her sexual activities, Marcie ended up going to “Juvie”, a boys & girls reformatory in Booneville. The stories of sex with 2-3 boys at a time, in lurid detail, were legend…and many of them were told and/or verified my Marcie.

Marcie was known and called: easy, tramp, vamp, whore…titles that Marice may not have liked, but had rather proudly earned.

Sandra Fluke IS Marcie a thousand times over!

To “need” $3,000, the equivalent of 3 condoms/sex acts a DAY for 2-3 YEARS! To DARE to go before Congress and admit that and then DEMAND WE pay for it is the height of Harlotry as found warned against throughout Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jeremiah and particularly Proverbs chpt. 7!!

My daughter is 19 but if she said what Sandra Fluke said anywhere publicly I’d still give her a spanking!

It is NOT rationally possible to trust liars and cheats with the Nation’s Budget, Economy, Taxes and Spending!

It is NOT rationally possible for people of corrupt, depraved and lurid moral and social views (and behaviour) to trusted Health-Care, Education, nor with regulating churches, private organizations (Boy Scouts, the YMCA and YWCA…), NOR your and my family!

Now it comes to light that Sandra Flukes “invitation” to appear before the “Democrat/Liberal ONLY” meeting of Congress was planed and engineered by Rep. Carolyn Maloney (Dem.) NY. . Sandra and DEMOCRAT Rep. Maloney coordinated their meeting to appear as an innocent encounter, Fluke was just another “concerned woman” testifying before Congress, albeit, ONLY to Liberals, hand selected BY Nancy Pelosi ! But Sandra Fluke, (Dem.) Rep. Maloney and Pelosi have another connection…

(Dem.) Rep. Nancy Pelosi and (Dem.) Rep. Carolyn Maloney had direct ties to Celinda Lake. Celinda lake is a Progreessive POLLSTER. Both Pelosi and Maloney, Democrat Representatives, were recent clients of Celinda Lake’s Polling firm!!

Several members have sent messages asking about traffic stats and real time data. We’ll eventually be adding a custom traffic/analytics system into the user dashboard, but in the mean time there is a simple solution that will work for free for most of our bloggers.

Welcome to Get Clicky.

The Patriot Action Network and Liberty News Network runs Get Clicky as our exclusive data analytics provider. While we have a pretty good idea of who is visiting your blog, how many are visiting your blog and where they’re coming from, you might want to have this information as well.

Thanks to Get Clicky, you can have this for FREE! Well, as long as you’re getting under 3,000 pageviews per day it will be free. Step 2) Once you get your account credentials from Get Clicky, login to your new account. Click on the “Add new site” at the top and enter your blog URL. An example would be ours at http://www.blog.patriotactionnetwork.com.

After you’ve submitted your blog URL, you’ll be taken to a page with a couple more options. The only two things you need to do is a) change the nickname field to “My Blog Name” or whatever you want to see your blog as in your account, and b) Change the timezone to your timezone. Leave the mirror field blank and don’t change any other settings.

Step 3) The next page will be the “Tracking Code.” Here you can copy the code in the box as is, or you can uncheck the “Affiliate code” box to remove the affiliate code.

Status Update on Patriot Action network 2.0

It’s been a while since the last status update so we figured we would drop in and provide some information on where we were, where we are and where we’re going.

First, to all our brand new members we say WELCOME to PAN and we’re glad to see so many of you are using the new features and plugging away at your new profiles. We’re adding hundreds of new members each week and the membership is growing fairly quickly.

Second, to all of our existing members that haven’t had issues with the move, we hope you’re enjoying the new features and we hope you’re adjusting to the way the new site runs.

Third, to those still having problems and finding frustration at several turns, it’s important to note that we’re well aware of the problems you’re having and we’re working as hard as we can to fix things for you. In fact, we’ve brought on some new faces to join our tech team for the next few weeks to clean up some of the issues and make some last minute fixes before switching over the entire site.

It’s very important for you to understand that we have a big vision for 2012 and this site. What you see now is NOT what you’ll be limited to next year. Speaking of limits, they’re exactly why we needed to make the move from Ning… we were limited and could not expand.

You see, with Ning a lot of the very basic stuff worked out of the box. Basic profile functions worked well, the discussions were cluttered and hard to navigate, but they worked well. The messaging system was top notch and the group functionality as it existed functioned with decent accuracy.

The problem, as we’ve pointed out before, is that we weren’t able to grow the infrastructure. Our “bounce rate” was extremely high because any first time visitors to the site got lost in a sea of content that was not properly indexed. First time visitors to groups found an overwhelming amount of content and didn’t know where to begin.

It’s a huge problem (or set of problems) to tackle and due to the fact that we needed to build from scratch to get out of Ning, we had to try to tackle it all at once. This is what is leading to the frustration shared by many of our more veteran members.

Change is not always fun. In fact sometimes it’s downright maddening. But in this scenario, with a little patience and understanding you’ll begin to see the picture unveil itself in the next few weeks.

Is the current messaging system, registration process, group layout and discussion forums setup the way it will be permanently? Absolutely not. We’ve got a team working tirelessly behind the scenes to completely modify it all and you’ll start seeing the “fixed” versions across the site soon.

The point here is, when you see something that isn’t working the way it should, please don’t assume that it will never work. Just note that this is a huge project and we’re having to hit it all at once.

We’re not crossing into the 94,000 user level. We’re growing in membership. Our members are starting to use the new blogging features and the traffic is growing across the newer parts of the site.

Now we just need to clean things up, get our issues sorted out and build our action center. You’re going to like all of this when it’s finished. You just may not love it while we’re finishing.

Hopefully this helps you see that we’re working on it all and hopefully you’ll hang in there while we iron out the wrinkles.

Site Navigation: Profile Messages and Messaging

The messaging system will be going through some changes down the road. In the interim, let us explain how this message system works. As we have shown on the other tutorials the Admin/My Acct Navigation bar and the Profile Menu are your tool bars for navigating your account and things that have to do with you. The tool bar at the very top is your account tool bar/admin bar (dark blue or gray).

Hover over My Account, when the sub menu pops up click on Messages or the second sub-menu click INBOX:

On your admin bar you will see all new notifications listed under NOTIFICATIONS as shown in the above picture to the right side. When you hover over Notifications the new items available will appear.

For now we are clicking INBOX.

Notice the blue tabs? The red tab that says Messages is the highlighted or selected tab. Underneath it has Inbox, Sent Messages, Compose, and Notices. The default is all messages.  The counter on messages counts all messages including responses to a message.

Currently we do not have the ability to reply to the sender only.

All messages are automatically REPLY TO ALL. If you want to reply to sender only we recommend that you click on compose and select the friend you wish to message. Otherwise, everyone included on the initial message will receive every response.

Our IT team are working to change that, but for now we must deal with the system as it is.

How to Compose a Message:

Click on Compose as you can see below,  text box appears. First in small print under the word Inbox you see  Pick from Friends List

Clicking there will show all friends you currently have on your list. By clicking on the friends name they are added (highlighted in green) to selected friends to receive that email.

Next is the subject line then the message content you want to type in.  I completed the fields below for you to see how it is done prior to clicking on Send Message.

Hopefully this answers your basic questions on email/messaging internal.

To change your notification settings:

Again go to your admin/my account bar at the top. Then hover over My Account. Then place your cursor over Settings-then sub menu on Notifications and click.

You will arrive on this page:

Change your Yes No answers to what you do or do not want notifications on. Notifications are sent to your personal email account you used when signing up on PAN.

Be sure to Save Changes!

Site Navigation: Your Profile Activity Stream

To get to the activity screen on your profile go to the admin/account bar at the very top (dark blue or gray) and hover over “My Account”. The first item on the sub menu that shows is activity. Move your cursor to activity and click.

The Profile activity stream is a great new feature of the PAN 2.0.

This is how it works. When you click on Activity you will arrive at YOUR profile page. The first tab on the profile menu is Activity (see Screen Shot below).

Notice the Blue Tabs across my Profile mid way down? The Red tab is the highlighted or selected tab.

Notice under the tabs there is a filter box and also Personal, Friends, Groups, Favorites and @darla mentions? The first item is Personal and the activity stream will always default to your personal activity site wide. You will see a text or message box where you can add a “Update” on your profile and this will show on your friends activity stream as well when they select Friends.

You have the option of selecting the activity stream for your friends, groups, favs, and again your @ mentions.

Why is this important? It is through the activity stream of your groups and friends that you will have an opportunity to see which of your friends have posted a blog or discussions, same applies with group activity etc… It is an easy way to see quickly what friends, mentions, groups, etc… are actively participating in on the site. If you like a friend and they have a blog, this is a great way to check out their activity stream.

But it gets even better. The filter is currently on the NO FILTER mode meaning the activity stream is showing everything within that category of personal, friends, groups, etc…

The activity FILTER is a great addition:

By clicking on the down arrow on the filter box you will see additional options. These options when selected will provide a filter of the category selected to only deliver those specific filters to your stream. See example below. The filter selected here is “Show Updates” and I have the “Friends” category selected; as you can see, it is in bold print.

This filter will only show updates on all my friends.

Applying any other filters to whichever category you desire will populate that information to your activity stream. It’s a fantastic way to see what all your friends are posting, staying caught up on blogs, group activity and more.

As you can see from the view above the Filter provides many options for activity viewing throughout the site. This makes your profile page a major part of your activism and a dashboard to operate from. This is far more advanced than what we had on NING and the old PAN.

As you familiarize yourself with the new PAN I believe you will find it’s a wonderful tool and better in many ways from the Old PAN. Letting go of the past is never easy. Embracing change is difficult, however, we believe once you understand how PAN 2.0 works you will embrace it and jump in.

In the interim, please understand, we started with a basic site with the intention to add many more features and content than what we have had in the past. Jump in and lets make the most of PAN 2.0!!

Site Navigation: The Main Menu w/ Sub Menus

After you have read up and understand using your account toolbar, then it’s time to move to navigation using the main menu.

The Main Menu (red bar across under the PAN logo) is similar to the main menu on the PAN 1.0 in that the links to all the sections are available through the main menu and several sections have a drop down sub menu with additional options.

The main difference is that on the previous PAN the drop down is vertical (top to bottom). On PAN 2.0 the sub menus show up as blue boxes/tabs across/horizontal rather than vertical.

As you hover over each main title you will see the sub menu. Simply move your mouse to the appropriate sub menu and click to go there. If there is not a sub menu simply click rather than hover over the main title tab on the menu.

Site Navigation: Your Account Tool Bar

Many of you have expressed concern that the site is difficult to navigate. Anytime you work on a completely new format, there will be a learning curve. We too, are having to learn the new site. That being said, over the next few days I will provide you with screen shots of navigation and hopefully assist you in the learning curve with the New PAN 2.0.

The Admin Bar across the top in dark gray or dark blue is your personal navigation for all things related to your account (see screen shot below). For example:

1. My Account (hover over that) will have a drop down menu with several headings (by hovering over some of the sub titles you will see another sub menu for that category).

  • Activity – post your “what’s happening now” comments, Activity for Personal, Friends, Groups, Favorites, @Yourusername mentions (see screen shot below)
  • Profile – Gives you the option to change your password, avatar, see what others see through the public display.
  • Blogs – your blogs
  • Messages – when you hover over messages another sub-menu will appear with your inbox, Sent messages, Compose a message, and notices. (you can also go to your profile and find those same tabs on your profile menu.
  • Friends List- Add Friends & Manage Friends
  • Groups- you have joined
  • Account Settings -Make changes to your account settings
  • Log Out

2. My Blogs: Next on the admin bar. Any blogging accounts you set up including if you start tea party blogs (mini websites) or simply your own personal blog(s). Will list under My Blogs.

4. Notifications: will show messages, friend requests, etc…

Your Account Profile Page:

Once you have completed your profile questions, your account profile page will have this message below until we approve your account. Once your account has been approved you will receive an official Welcome Letter and the message in the green box will go away.

It is important to note that until you answer all the “Required” questions on your profile, your account will not be marked as complete and will not show in the Moderators Que for approval. Furthermore you will not be able to participate on the site.

Some User Blogs to Mention

A few days back we wrote about the ability to start a full scale WordPress user blog on the new Patriot Action Network. This is a powerful new feature that really makes our site stand out from the rest.

Essentially, we’re now powered by the exact same software that runs WordPress.com. This means that not only can you have a social profile… you can now have your own sub-domain and personalized blog.

Sunday Update… The Joys of Moving a Mega Site

Well, joy is a bit sarcastic as you might imagine. In reality, moving a site as big as ours from servers we do not manage to servers we manage is no easy task. Add to that the fact that we have multiple domains and about 100 sub-domains to try and work with and you start seeing the complexities of such a move.

That’s why we opted to do it late Saturday night and our team has been working on it around the clock.

As an update, the dust is finally starting to settle a little. There are still some issues (and will be for several weeks, but most will not be as present on the frontend as those we see today) and we’re working on them.

Here’s the good news.

-All 50 state hubs are functional. If you haven’t seen them yet, click here to see a list and visit your state.

-The old site WILL be available for several months. You’ll be able to log in to your old profile and get all of your old data, as well as continue using the old site while we get everything up and running on the new one. The reason we can’t give you a link to it today is because we can’t get Ning to respond quick enough to give us a sub-domain to access it with.

Rest assured though, knowing that you’ll have it back within the next day or two.

-While about 3% of users are having some difficulty with the password reset, several thousand users have successfully logged in and began using the site. We tell you this so that if you’re in the 3%, you’ll know that things will get better and very soon!

Speaking of which, we’re pretty quick to getting the password problem resolved. If you’re still having trouble, please click here and open a ticket. Make sure you include the email address associated with your account in the message.

And now for the bad…

-Minor server issues. While we all want a move this big to flow seamlessly, that’s just not a reality. You may notice some lag here and there and an occasional time out. That’s because the guys working on the servers are trying to find the perfect load-balance configurations that allow traffic to be passed between multiple servers.

In other words… right now these slow-downs are intentional if/when they happen.

-Bugs are popping up here and there. We tested the heck out of the site over the past couple of weeks but there is no way to know how it will all act with 100,000 users until you have the 100,000 users active on the site. Now we have us all here and now we get the fun of seeing what happens as a result of it!

Trust us… it’s not really any fun at all. But we’re getting the bugs knocked down and all should be cleaned up soon.
